Joe has been in the plumbing industry since the age of 17, and a loyal member of the AAA AUGER San Antonio team since 2012. Since he began, Joe has been a steady and reliable service technician. We can always count on Joe to make that extra call, switch a shift with a fellow plumber, or volunteer to stay late and help when needed.

Joe has considerably vast experience, which he uses to troubleshoot all plumbing problems he encounters. Joe is a fine plumber with many exceptional commendations from our customers.

A Bit About Joe

Joe was born in Slaton, Texas, near Lubbock. One of five brothers, Joe began working in the cotton fields with his father at the age of 12. At 17, Joe began his career in plumbing at Becker Wholesale, a plumbing supply warehouse. Joe says, “It was an ideal way to begin a plumbing career, getting familiar with parts and fittings I would be using down the line.”

At the age of 19, Joe began his plumbing apprenticeship for Burks Plumbing in Slaton, TX, running service calls. He completed his fourth year with another company called Bruce Thornton A/C & Plumbing, at which time he also received his GED. After taking his Journeyman License Test, Joe became Lead Plumber of his own contracting crew at Thornton’s, where he worked for one year.

Joe and his family moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2001 and he started working with Jack Lawrence Corporation as foreman for a contracting crew. For over two years, they worked on and completed a large project for Morningside Manor in Boerne, TX. In 2003, Joe left to work with Guarantee Plumbing, a commercial contracting plumbing company. He stayed there for nine years before coming aboard with AAA AUGER in October of 2012.

Joe is married to Nancy and has four children: Joe Anthony, Guadalupe Jose, Christina Nicole, and Alexander Jacob. His time off always involves his family. They love watching movies, playing sports or going to the coast for fishing and beach time.
